Rooted in lived experience. Designed to create real change.

At Inclusion North, we deliver training that is shaped by the lived experience of people with a learning disability, autistic people and family carers.
We deliver training both for professionals and for people with lived experience, supporting confidence, skills and leadership.
Our training goes beyond awareness. It is designed to support real change in how services are designed, delivered and experienced.
We work across health, social care and the voluntary sector, bringing together lived experience, practice and system insight to help organisations build more inclusive services and workplaces.

Why our training is different

  • Led by lived experience
  • All of our training is co-designed and co-delivered with people with a learning disability, autistic people and family carers. This brings real insight, challenge and accountability into the room.
  • Grounded in real system work
  • We don’t just deliver training. We work across systems to influence policy, improve services and support culture change. Our training reflects what is happening in practice right now.
  • Focused on meaningful change
  • Our sessions are practical, reflective and designed to support organisations to take action, not just increase knowledge.

Our training offer

We offer a wide range of training across the following areas:

  • Foundations – learning disability, autism and inclusion
  • Lived Experience and Co-production – sharing power and meaningful involvement
  • Workforce and Employment – inclusive recruitment and workplaces
  • Leadership and Governance – inclusive leadership and system change
  • Children and Young People – inclusive practice across services
  • Wellbeing and Life Experiences – trauma-informed and compassionate practice
  • We are also licensed to deliver Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training in Learning Disability and Autism.
