Reasonable Adjustment Flag

Inclusion North works with the North East and Cumbria Learning Disability Network to make sure that people with a learning disability, autistic people, and their families know what the Reasonable Adjustment Flag is and can be involved in the planning.

What is the Reasonable Adjustment Flag?

The Reasonable Adjustment Flag is a computer tool. It helps to record people’s reasonable adjustments.

Reasonable adjustments are changes made to help disabled people access health and care services.

The Reasonable Adjustment Flag is important for health and social care.

The Reasonable Adjustment Flag will help to make sure that disabled people get the support they need.

What have we done so far?

Inclusion North go to meetings about the Reasonable Adjustment Flag in the North East and Cumbria. The meeting is called a Steering Group.

In 2023 and 2024, we shared information from the steering group meetings with experts by experience groups.

We asked experts questions about reasonable adjustments and fed this back to the Steering Group. The experts feedback was used to help the planning.

We supported a group of experts by experience to deliver a presentation at an event about the Reasonable Adjustment Flag.

Making a Video

Now, we are making a video about the Reasonable Adjustment Flag.

The video will help people understand the Reasonable Adjustment Flag.

The video will help people to know their rights about getting reasonable adjustments.

Looking for experts by experience

We are looking for 5 experts by experience to help us plan and make the video.

Experts need to live in the North East or North Cumbria.
