Hartlepool Citizen Coaches – Do you want to part of the team?
We are looking for 3 people with a learning disability and 3 autistic people and 3 family carers of someone with a learning disability or autism to form a team of Citizenship Coaches in Hartlepool.
We are looking for 3 people with a learning disability and 3 autistic people and 3 family carers of someone with a learning disability or autism to form a team of Citizenship Coaches in Hartlepool.
The team will come together with support from Inclusion North to develop and deliver Citizenship Training.
The training will be for Social Workers, Service Providers and those working within Community Hubs.
To join the group you will need to be:
- 18 years or older
- Live in Hartlepool
The Group comes together twice a month for 1.5 hours. Sessions will be both face to face and on Zoom.
We are looking for people who have these skills
- Can listen well to other people share ideas and work as part of a team
- Can speak up in meetings
- Deliver part of a training session
- Can use a computer or phone to join online meetings in Zoom
We pay £10 per hour involvement fee to everyone on the group.
