Alan Morrison
My Experience
My name is Alan. I am an autistic person.
I was a young carer for several family members. I used to work in primary schools and trained to become a teacher.
I worked with NHS England developing the Oliver McGowan Training.
I run a community group in my local area for autistic adults and people that love them. We spend time in nature to improve our wellbeing.
My Skills and Knowledge
I have a Sociology degree and a diploma in history.
I home-educated my younger brother, supporting him to achieve several high-level qualifications (including a Masters).
What is important to me
Education is very important to me.
I value honesty, integrity and kindness.
My work is also important to me.
