We run their working group with autistic people and professionals.

We met every 2 months to design and write a plan on how to make the lives of autistic people better in Darlington

We are supporting Darlington to co-produce their 3-year All-Age Autism Strategy.

We set up and now run a working group consisting of people with lived experience of autism, and professionals from the local authority, health and other organisations.

The group have been meeting bi-monthly since March 2025 to shape the priorities for the strategy and will continue to meet throughout 2026 to help write the strategy and oversee it’s delivery.

We are writing the strategy and facilitating wider consultation to find out what other people in Darlington would like to see happen to improve the lives of autistic people.

This is an important piece of work to help plan how to make the lives of autistic people in Darlington better.
