The West Yorkshire Transforming Care Programme is looking for two people with lived experience from West Yorkshire to join the North East and Yorkshire Learning Disability and Autism Programme Board.
The West Yorkshire Transforming Care Programme is looking for two local people with lived experience. One person with a learning disability and one autistic person.
We really welcome people with a learning disability and autistic people who are from:
• Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds
• Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer (LGBTQ+)
• Young people aged 18-25
What skills, knowledge and experience do you need to be involved?
- Have experience of using health and social care services including support in the community
- Some knowledge of what works and what doesn’t in your local area
- Be able to speak up and share your ideas
- Use a computer and join in online using Microsoft Teams
Support
Inclusion North will support you if you need any help with taking part in the meetings.
The North East and Yorkshire Regions Learning Disability and Autism Programme Board has 4 different meetings:
1. A meeting to find out the important issues to share
2. A planning meeting
3. A big board meeting
4. A meeting to find out what went well
