Kimberly Bellhouse – Senior Project Administrator.
I bring a warm, people‑centred approach to my role as Senior Administrator, combining strong organisational skills with a genuine passion for supporting others. With many years of experience in Business Administration and a degree in Psychology with Counselling, I enjoy blending practical problem‑solving with an understanding of human wellbeing, communication, and inclusion.
My career and volunteer work have always centred around helping people move forward in their lives. I have volunteered in the charity sector supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency, and I previously worked as a Personal Wellbeing Advisor supporting people on probation. These roles shaped my belief in empowerment, respect, and creating environments where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported.
Being part of Inclusion North means a great deal to me. I am deeply committed to our mission and values, and I feel proud to work for an organisation that champions the rights, voice, and inclusion of people with a learning disability and autistic people. Knowing that my work contributes to positive change motivates me every day, and I approach my role with care, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose.
People often describe me as calm, patient, friendly, and encouraging. I’m highly organised, an active listener, and a creative thinker. I enjoy breaking down complex tasks into clear, step‑by‑step processes that others can easily follow, and I love finding practical solutions that help people succeed. Supporting and motivating others is something that comes naturally to me and is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
Outside of my role, I enjoy exploring new places, reading motivational and wellbeing books, and continuing to grow personally and professionally. I also have a strong interest in holistic therapies and have achieved Level 1 and Level 2 in Reiki. Learning new skills and supporting my own wellbeing are important parts of my life.
My core values—trust, honesty, respect, and wellbeing—guide everything I do. Whether I’m supporting my team, improving administrative systems, or contributing to Inclusion North’s inclusive practice, I bring these values into every interaction.
I’m proud to be part of an organisation that makes such a meaningful difference, and I am committed to ensuring my work contributes to a positive, supportive, and welcoming environment for colleagues, partners, and the wider community.
Meet the Organisational Support and Development Team
The Organisational Support and Development Team plays a vital role in supporting Inclusion North across the North East and Yorkshire & Humber. Working closely with our Board of Directors, Advisory Council, delivery team, hub of experts, customers, and suppliers, the team helps ensure the organisation is well-managed, sustainable, and effective in achieving its mission.
The team brings together a broad range of expertise, including lived experience leadership, business support and administration, communications, accessible information, event and meeting coordination, finance, human resources, and the management of our Expert Hub. Through these functions, they provide the essential infrastructure that enables Inclusion North to deliver high-quality work and support positive outcomes for people with a learning disability, autistic people, and family carers.
At the heart of the team’s work is a commitment to inclusion and co-production. We believe that people with lived experience are experts in their own lives, and we work alongside organisations to ensure that their knowledge, insights, and experiences help shape decisions, services, and system-wide change.
Whether supporting the day-to-day running of the organisation, helping to reduce communication inequalities through accessible information, or enabling our delivery teams to perform at their best, the Organisational Support and Development Team is dedicated to creating a more inclusive society for people with a learning disability, autistic people, and their families.
