My Experience

 

Working with people with a learning disability and autistic people  for over 20 years.

I know lots about Advocacy and worked in Advocacy for a long time.

Writing a book about the history of  people who lived in long stay hospitals.

I have worked with people to change government guidance so it helps more people.

 

My Skills and Knowledge

 

Good at building relationships with people, families and professionals.

Helping people work together.

Understanding the law and its rules and help people and families make sense of this.

 

What is important to me

 

Social Justice is very important to me. Why cant we all be different and equal.

Kindness.
