Supporting Learning Disability Partnership Boards
Inclusion North has worked with member areas to help them to find out how well the Learning Disability Partnership Board is working. We did this by helping to review the Board and got people involved to think about what works well, what could be better and captured people’s idea for change.

Member areas have wanted to review the Board to make sure that the focus is still about making real change for people in the local area and that the voice of people with a learning disability and or autism is strong.
Inclusion North did this by working with all the people involved including people with a learning disability and or autism, family carers, members of the council, people from health and other providers.
We put together a questionnaire to ask people their views and then arranged a meeting to get everyone together to talk about what people thought.
Together we then created a plan. It was important for people that they worked to help and support the big plans for people with a learning disability and or autism in the local area.
