Speaking up for yourself and others in the Humber to develop a big plan

Inclusion North are working with the Humber Transforming Care Partnership to help them to develop their vision and big plan for people with a learning disability and autistic people.

We are looking for local people with a learning disability, autistic people including young people and family carers to join a group.

 

The group will be involved in developing the vision and plan to help improve services for people with learning and autistic people living across the Humber.

 

To do this we need lots of different people to be involved from the 4 areas of Humber:

 

North East Lincolnshire

North Lincolnshire

East Riding of Yorkshire

Hull

 

We especially welcome:

 

People from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds

People who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer (LGBTQ+)

Younger people aged 18-25

 

We are looking for 12 people, 3 people from each area.

 

People will be given an involvement fee of £10 per hour for their time.

 

What skills, knowledge and experience do you need to be involved?

 

Have experience of using  health and social care services

Knowledge of what works and what doesn’t in your local area

Be able to share your ideas

Because of Covid-19 it means we are not able to meet face to face.

To join the meetings you will need to be able to join in online using Zoom.
