The Confirm and Challenge Group is a group of people with a Learning Disability, Autism or both who come together monthly to share the work around Transforming Care.

The group was established to help the Transforming Care programme on a regional basis to support people, families and carers to understand the work of Transforming Care and to work alongside the Transforming Care Board to get it right for people who use mental health services or have been called challenging.

The group does this by

Asking questions about the work and asking questions about what group members think is important.

Sharing ideas, suggesting solutions and offering different ways of thinking.

Keeping in touch with other people or groups so information can be shared and their ideas and questions heard.

Setting clear principles that all the work can be checked against.
