Understanding the Mental Capacity Act

Making sense of it for me and mine

The Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards are important for protecting the rights and liberty of people with learning disabilities. Family members and carers have told us it's hard to make sense of it all. These sessions help family members and carers do just that. The sessions include a resource pack.

Who can take part

These sessions are for Inclusion North Member areas only. They don't use any vouchers. They are aimed at a minimum of five and a maximum of 15 family members and carers at each session.
