Members Day 2015

This page tells you about our 2015 members Day

Members Day 2015

Thanks to everyone who came along to Our Members Day on 27th November 2015, it was great day, with over 100 people taking part, sharing what works and doesn't work and ideas for the future.

There were short films shown with self advocates talking about what life is like for them and what has changed for them.

We had some very exciting workshops on

  • So what does language mean to inclusion and commity? with Mole Chapman. This workshop was based on the idea's from Mole's book Respectful Language, which you can read by clicking the title.
  • So how do we support to keep strong? with Steve Noone
  • So what does advocacy mean for people understanding and exercising their rights? with Kellie Woodley and Stan Cooke

At the bottom of the page you can download the presentations from the day.

We asked people before the day to share information on the last 10 years and the next 10 years, we have collected this and you can download the booklet at the bottom of the page.

We will be adding the videos that people watched at this event soon.
