This page tells you about Ruth ,a Director of Inclusion North
Since I retired in 2011 I have continued to work as a volunteer to try to make a positive difference for people with some disability in their life.
I am passionate about helping people with a learning disability to have a good life and to be accepted as equal citizens in every community. This is why I have worked with Inclusion North since it started in 2005.
Before I retired I was Assistant Director of Adult Social care in Middlesbrough Council, and as a social worker and social work manager was always committed to working in partnership with everyone to improve the services that some people need to help them have a good life.
